Hugo Parker Wins $83 Million Jury Trial!

James Parker and Peter Hoefs defended the firms boiler manufacturer client in a personal injury mesothelioma jury trial in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Plaintiffs claimed that Mr. Guidi was exposed to asbestos while working as a HVAC technician at various locations, including Carnival Lines cruise ships. Plaintiffs further claimed that he was exposed to asbestos from the boilers aboard the cruise ships and asked the jury to award more than $1 million in economic damages and $82 million in non-economic damages. The jury returned a complete defense verdict.
