Jon C. James is a Senior Counsel with Hugo Parker. His practice focuses on construction defect, toxic tort, complex civil litigation, products liability, and Landlord Tenant cases.
Mr. James has over 20 years of litigation experience defending clients including medical device manufacturers, blood products suppliers, engineering firms, construction contractors, telecommunications companies, insurance companies, small businesses, and large corporations. He also has significant experience representing professionals including doctors, attorneys, Chief Executive Officers, and business professionals.
Jon’s representation includes drafting and answering discovery, drafting complex briefs, taking and defending both fact and expert witnesses, negotiating with opposing counsel, preparing expert witnesses, effectively evaluating cases and presenting complex cases to juries.
Mr. James earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law where he served on the Moot Court Board and was a finalist in the Advocate of the Year competition.
