Heather Kirkpatrick is a Litigation Associate with an extensive and diverse background in civil litigation. She has experience in a wide variety of legal matters including complex product and premises liability, asbestos cases, elder and dependent adult abuse, and personal injury. She has also handled cases against school districts and private educational institutes involving the sexual and physical abuse of children, negligent supervision and the negligent hiring of staff.

Ms. Kirkpatrick has defended a wide range of clients including manufacturers, premises owners, public transportation companies, public entities, and large utility companies. Heather manages her cases from inception to resolution, handling discovery, depositions, the preparation of motions, and preparation for trial. Ms. Kirkpatrick has assisted as trial counsel, successfully argued significant Motions in both state and federal courts, appellate work, and she has obtained summary judgment for her clients.

Ms. Kirkpatrick earned her Juris Doctorate from The University of San Francisco School of Law. While at USF Law she was on the board of The Women’s Law Association and was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Team. Heather studied International Law at Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland during the summer of 2008. She also obtained a Certificate in Business and Corporate Law from USF Law.
